Well, we can't say we didn't warn you. Free shipping has now ended. This being coincidental with Jamie's new found sobriety is just a rumor.
In other news we should have exciting release announcements right here soon.
Really!

A quick note to say that one of the industrious users over at Board Game Geek has created a Micro Badge for The Portable Galactic Empire. Get one here. It will cost you 8 Geek Gold. If you're not a BGG user, sign up. The account is free and it's about the best resource on the web for board game info. |

(I always wanted to say that.)
We're holding over our low/no shipping promo! Jamie, after a particularly good New Years party, decided we need to keep our bit going for promoting the economic recovery. So, you've still got time to get PGE and pay no shipping.
As a side note, I will be out of the country as of Sunday, January 10. That means that orders won't be handled by the shipping department from January 10 until at least January 24. We apologize for the inconvenience, though we (in this case me) will be in the tropics, and really not feeling all that sorry.

Yes today is the day, the ides of December as it were. Never a better opportunity to spend some money on a fancy game in an orange box.
And remember, in honor of JP's birthday, free shipping* - which we're happy to do right up to and including orders submitted before midnight December 31st, Central time (GMT - 6 if your keeping track).

We know some of you have other stuff to celebrate, too. So to show how much we like celebrating (especially JP's Birthday) we're giving gifts. This year we give you the gift of free shipping (or in some cases,
cheaper shipping at the very least)!
For the month of December all shipping costs are reduced - Slow but cheap is FREE!
In case you need it faster (because you need to give someone a gift for
JP's birthday for example), you can still pay for faster shipping, but
at a reduced rate.
We hope all of you have fun and safe seasons - which ever season you choose to celebrate. And now for a rousing chorus of our favorite JP's Birthday season songs.

Ok this is the first full review. But the second one I've posted. And it's very nice. And it's on Wired. Squee. |

Though not stellar, is very positive. Actually it's more a brief of the review, as these guys are doing a full video review soon. See the notes here. Thanks a bunch and good luck to Board to Death TV. |

After a bunch of debate, and some heavy play testing sessions, we've decided to do an official tweak to the rules. Here's the summary: - You can now attack anyone you want so long as you have the resources. This means you still need to pay the influence cost, and you need to have ships, but monuments are no longer involved. - You can win by eliminating a set number of your opponents, depending on how many you started with. We also took this opportunity to clean up the presentation of the rules. Look for them to download here. (Or right down there, too.) If you already own a game and want a fancy professionally printed copy, let us know and we'll mail one to you. Least we could do. On the other hand, if you like the old way, don't let us stop you. Those are still available on the downloads page, too. |

We've added a retailers section - look here to see if your local shop has our stuff. (And if they don't ask them, why...) Retailers Page |
